Case Studies

A look at how we approach real engagements. Every detail below is anonymized, and figures are generalized, to protect the confidentiality our clients rely on.

A note on discretion. Most of our clients engage us precisely because their reputation is sensitive. We do not publish client names, and we never confirm or deny who we work with. The studies below are representative of the engagements we run, structured to show how we think and what outcomes look like.

Publicly Traded Corporation

Correcting an outdated corporate record through a leadership transition

Challenge

A mid-cap company's Wikipedia article still described a corporate structure two acquisitions out of date, and a new CEO had no accurate public record ahead of an investor roadshow.

Approach

We assembled independent reporting on the acquisitions and the leadership change, then filed sourced edit requests through the article's talk page for community review rather than editing directly.

Outcome

The corporate history was brought current and the new CEO gained an accurate, neutral biography. Both held through subsequent editorial review.

Venture-Backed Founder

Establishing first-page credibility ahead of a funding round

Challenge

A founder approaching a Series B had strong press coverage but no consolidated presence. Searches returned scattered results and no Knowledge Panel, weakening diligence impressions.

Approach

We ran a notability assessment, confirmed the coverage met the bar, and built a neutral, well-cited article. We then structured the surrounding entities that feed Google's Knowledge Graph.

Outcome

A compliant page passed review, and a verified Knowledge Panel followed, giving investors a clean, authoritative first impression.

Replacing a thin, inaccurate biography with a sourced one

Challenge

A managing partner's existing article was short, partly inaccurate, and tagged by editors for sourcing problems, a liability that signaled neglect to LPs and counterparties.

Approach

We audited every claim against reliable sources, removed unsupported material, and rebuilt the biography to neutral standards, documenting each change transparently for the community.

Outcome

The maintenance tags were resolved and the article stabilized into a clean, defensible record that reflects a verifiable career.

Public Figure

Addressing a damaging, poorly sourced result the right way

Challenge

An outdated, thinly sourced negative article was ranking on page one for a philanthropist's name, distorting an otherwise well-documented record of work.

Approach

Rather than attempt to bury accurate information, we strengthened legitimate, authoritative assets and pursued correction of the genuinely inaccurate claims through proper channels.

Outcome

Accurate, high-authority results moved up the page, and the inaccurate item lost prominence, producing a search profile that fairly reflects the individual.
